Covid problem

I had Covid 5 weeks ago and am triple jabbed.
Had to take time off work last week (which I am paid for at the moment) for one of my children with Covid.

I have just done an LFT as I feel awful and that has come up positive.

I know what I have to do, but oh my god, this will be my third bout of Covid and second bout of time off with Covid (was off on leave during 2nd bout so won’t count for work) and I’ve had to be off for my child for a week too (single parent)

I am so worried I am going to lose my job. My manager is going to go mad as people were already covering me for last weeks absence.

None of this is avoidable, I can’t control my children bringing this into the house and I don’t understand why I keep getting it, but the result is strongly positive, and I was negative last week so it’s not a bit of residual infection on tests.
I usually have a really good attendance, but I’ve only been in this job 7 months!
They will never believe I have it again will they?

A positive PCR is proof.

I'm also on a second infection - 6w after my first one!

I had it in October, I was off 10 days then, I had it in December on leave and now I have it again????

My children are also all on their second bouts but I’ve had all the bloody jabs

I don’t know whether it’s better to tell work that the kids are still positive or admit I am. It’s the same either way, but I feel like an (ill feeling) fraud.

I have not found Covid to be “just like a cold” either. It makes me feel shit

You need to go for a PCR, plus honestly unless you turn one in, They might think you are fibbing.
