Song from the 80s

Ok so I know I really do not have much to go on-but I am hoping someone can help!
When I was a teen I remember watching a music video and loving the vid and the song( so much it has stuck in my memory all this time)
However I don't know the song nor the band.
All I remember is it was a typical 80s rock band-long hair with poodle perms.
The Video was set in a church-Lots of candles
The lyrics were something like-"Honey I'd die for you!!"
Can anyone help?

The Bryan Adams Robin Hood song has the words "I'd die for you" in it. Not sure there's a church bit, although Kevin Costner did have a mullet in the film.
