Hormones causing panic attacks!?

Over the past 6 months I've been having some horrendous nights where I've been having really vivid dreams and waking up either panicky or in a full blown panic attack Confused I have had low level general anxiety probably since my teens but always manageable but this extra level of panic has really knocked me for 6! Sometimes it creeps into the day aswell and I get these waves of prickly heat with a sense of dread/doom...truly horrible! I've been tracking everything and doing EFT, CBT online and I'm getting more good days overall but on the run up to my period nothing seems to help and that's when I get the majority of the night time attacks, strangely other time seems to be around ovulation!? Could be hormonal? Anyone experienced this?

For background I'm 34, never had bad PMT. I work full time from home, have a 7 year old and 2.5 year old. Youngest is breastfed and still has around 2 comfort feeds a day.
