Role Models

Do you encourage your sons to have female role models? Do they have female role models? I know my daughter has both male and female. The teen boys I know only seem to have male role models. Would it encourage boys to have more respect for the opposite sex?

You can't really choose someone else's role model for them. It's up to them who they look up to

I didn't say choose I said encourage. My husband really admires Katie Taylor and my daughter now follows her and really looks up to her. We both like Brian Cox and watch a lot of his programmes. She follows Brian Cox also. She also follows people that neither of us would have an interest in as she does have a mind of her own.
