Omg help.

On antibiotics and codine. I’m absolute agony. I have pericoronitis in my top right wisdom tooth, the pain has spread to my ear, the top of my mouth and my lymph node under my jaw. I want to cry. Iv not ate properly in days as I can’t seem to open my mouth enough and to chew absolutely kills. I feel sooo run down.

😩😭😭😭

What's the plan after the antibiotic course has completed?

Slavetolove · 30/01/2022 14:17

No idea, I have 7 days worth

Probably not for right now but buy an electric water pic to keep you going until you can have them removed.

Lukewarm salty water jetting the area clean will make a massive impact if they are impacted. Fully sympathy.

Thank you! I’m so fed up. It’s the not able to open my mouth wide that’s annoying me on top of the constant pain!

I had this in summer last year bottom wisdom tooth. It really is horrendous, I had green stuff coming out of the gum as well. I could barely speak because I couldn't open my mouth.

I got some anbelsol?? To deaden the gum and had a bit of relief even if it was for 30 mins. I just kept applying it. And just keep on with pain relief and antibiotics.

Just looks infected. Mine was the same but bottom. Mine was because the wisdom tooth is covered by gum so it just keeps getting infected despite good oral hygiene.
MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 31/01/2022 10:15

Warm salt mouthwash is really important. At least 3x a day

Slavetolove · 31/01/2022 18:08

I have the infection still there so more antibiotics and I have an ulcer where my wisdom tooth touches my gum/cheek. They flushed it with antibacterial wash and I nearly fell off the chair 😩

Do you have corsodyl? It's really good.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 31/01/2022 21:19

Iglu is really good for ulcers.

Deedoo · 22/10/2023 13:23

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor whats iglu

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 22/10/2023 16:44

A fantastic gel that formed a protective barrier over the ulcer. Sadly I think it's been discontinued now as this is an old thread.
