I broke my ankle early January, and it's now healed up enough that I can do the school run again. Very slowly, and while using a crutch.
I'm aware I'm annoyingly slow, a 5 minute walk is taking me than 10 minutes at the moment. Especially as I have to keep stopping to rest.
So I make sure I walk to the side on paths, and if I stop I make sure I stop where I can be out of the way.
But so often people will walk right behind me, almost stepping on my heels. There's space to go around, and they can see that I'm clearly having some issues walking. So why do they insist on following right behind me? Especially the ones who insist on making impatient huffing noises at the same time!
