41 and feel lost

[Mistake39]

I work part time and have worked in the same place for 17 years - I have tried to get promoted and was finally offered something but turned it down as it wasn’t what I wanted to do.
I have friends back at collage/uni I just think what am I doing I wish I new what I wanted to do or be but I don’t - my job has good benefits but rubbish pay and I feel stupid that I have never progressed in this time to something higher - not really sure what I expect people to say suppose I am
Just frustrated and feeling lost - anyone else felt like this

Not quite in the same situation but I feel similar. Until last week I had a job I absolutely loved but handed my notice in in a moment of absolute exasperation at shit management. I now kind of feel bereft and trying to find another job. Have applied for one I really wanted and didn't get it, same job has come up again and I've applied again but anxious I wont even be shortlisted this time ( closing date was yesterday ). Went for a job interview yesterday and the lead person said they would let people know by yesterday evening, I have heard nothing so assume I was unsuccessful but I just wish they would let me know either way. I just feel a bit lost too, anxious as have no job, feel a bit stupid for throwing a way a job I loved etc. I know it's early days but I just feel lost.
