I know this is old news, but opinions please.

I used to order from Ocado but haven't since very much at all since they dropped Waitrose. Get WR deliveries.

Reason being I cook 90% from scratch and find M&S quite ready-meal heavy.

Having said that, Ocado does have a few things that I'd buy - mainly toiletries and some more unusual ingredients. I'm still paying for a delivery saver so wondering whether to get an occasional order.

BUT how do you find the quality of everyday fruit and veg ?
Are prices pretty much the same as Waitrose (I've done a quick comparison and they seem almost the same.)

I cancelled ocado and tried Sainsbury's this week but they've subbed the free from foods I specifically wanted, so not happy, especially as they have subbed for foods containing allergens (non dairy cheese for dairy cheese) which is actually quite dangerous!

I'll be trying Waitrose next week.

I got an email today about renewing my smart pass with the price going up by £20. Decided it was time to bite the bullet and cancel. I am really disappointed by the M&S switch (such a shame). So much stuff out of stock every week, they never have any of the seasonal stuff available eg Trick or treat sweets at Halloween. So much damaged packaging recently too, and despite dates that are really short. Just not good enough IMO to justify the huge bills I seem to be racking up without having much to show for it. I was going to try Sainsburys but might investigate Waitrose online after reading this.

Is there another supermarket that automatically books you a repeat slot at the frequency you want and automatically fills your basket with stuff you yes every 1, 2, 4 or 8 weeks? If there's, I'm leaving ocado.

Cancelled my Ocado smartpass, not keen on M&S relationship, am back to shopping at local Waitrose which is opposite Lidl, best of both worlds.
