Used earrings

I have a load of earrings that I'm never going to wear again. I don't want to just bin them but it seems like nowhere takes used earrings.
I totally understand there are hygiene issues with donating them but surely somewhere must take used earrings. Anyone know of a place?

My charity shop takes them . We sterilise them in dettol then sell them . They sell really well

May I ask which charity that is? My local charity shops all say "no" to earrings donations

Oxfam take them in our town, but not the other charity shops
