Have you just come back from holiday somewhere warm? If so can I ask you a few questions?

I'm planning a last minute holiday with a friend. (Yay!)

We're thinking somewhere warm. And somewhere with easy covid testing / restrictions (we're both triple jabbed)

If you've just come back to the UK from somewhere warm can you give me a bit of info on where you've been. Eg on covid testing etc. And whether there were many covid restrictions eg mask wearing when there. And was it warm?

We just came back from Punta Cana very warm. Masks only in reception and at the buffet when selecting your food. It was beautiful.

We returned from Lanzarote last month. Mask rule at the time was same as here, but I understand it has changed now to wearing anywhere you are unable to keep a distance (although friends told me this is not enforced)

Had a great time, wonderful weather (swimming in sea and pool)

Our unvaxxed teen made it in 9 hours before they changed the rules on unvaxxinated travellers, as it stands she would now be unable to travel to Spain. She had to have PCR before travelling.

We had to take LFT before returning, and PCR once home. That has now changed for England I believe.

It was amazing to get away, the paperwork etc was a breeze and worth it.

Just back from Tenerife. Wether was warm and hot in the afternoon. Mornings could be cool enough to need a cardigan until 11ish. Just a thin cardigan no need for coats. Outdoor Childrens playgrounds are closed. Kids club was open at the hotel. Siam park was open with reduced capacity, mask wearing between rides. Siam Mall open as usual. Mask wearing anywear indoors and crowded outdoor places, such as the market. Mask wearing when moving around the hotel. Take off when swimming and sitting round the pool. Asks for selecting food from the buffet, the waiters aren’t afraid to remind people which was nice to see as we seem to be terrified of reminding people in this country.Children aged 6 to wear a mask same as adults.

How warm, OP?

@SheWoreYellow

How warm, OP?
Warm enough to lie by the pool. So over 25 daytime temps I'd say.

If you want that warm I think Cyprus and Tenerife will be touch and go. I think you need Cape Verdi etc.
