Is this bad circulation? (Photo of hands enclosed)

Earlier, I noticed my daughter's hands were bright red. No sign of like a rash or flaky skin and they weren't cold, I rubbed them just in case and they went white.
But seconds later they went back to red.
I had her hold her hands above her head, and when she lowered them they looked normal... Complete with filthy 8 year olds nails.

So I took a photo, one hand is red, the other white after I've rubbed it.

It's like pushing blood out and then it fills back up again iyswim.

Yikes! I'd be seeking medical attention ASAP.

Have a Google of Raynauds, see if it sounds about right.
I was diagnosed with raynauds when I was a out 12/13 as I would go blue at the slightest temperature change. It's mainly my hands and feet and can be very uncomfortable. When I warm back up again, they go very red and blotchy, just like the hands in the picture.

Her hands aren't falling off, so no need for A&E. I'll likely call the GP tomorrow though.

Yeah the GP sounds a good call tomorrow.

I said that to her as I have heard of it but Google doesn't sound quite right, but I mean maybe? It affects people differently from what I can read.

She's in no pain at all, no aches or cold or tingles and pins and needles etc.

Where did I say rush her to A&E? Confused

WizbitsLeftEye · 25/01/2022 00:53

I have raynauds, I have weird circulation in my hands and feet and always did. My hands don't necessarily look like Google images of raynauds.

GP. If it's raynauds it's nothing to worry about. Do her hands feel cold to the touch?

No, they feel normal body temperature to me, neither warm nor cold. I could maybe understand red hands if she'd been out in the cold or playing in snow, but she was indoors and cleaning her teeth before bed.
