Any psychics about? Help find an envelope please!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had an envelope (brown A4) I think. It contained a stack of paperwork relating to probate for a deceased family member. I cannot find the paperwork. I am normally very organised and expected it to be in my file but no. When I was working on it I kept it under a chest of drawers next to my bed.

Help please, where is it?

Box under your bed?

recycling bin, coffee table, kitchen drawer?
on top of wardrobe (as in somewhere safe where you'd struggle to reach and chuck it)

Did you look at it in bed? If so, slipped down the side or back of the mattress?

Definitely not under the bed, behind the mattress or on the wardrobe. Recycling bin is emptied very regularly so if it was there it’s gone forever! Coffee table is clear. Kitchen drawers were tidied this month (get rid of 1-31 items a day jan challenge and the envelope wasn’t one of them).

I now think the envelope could have been white!

Do you have a sideboard or hallway cabinet? If yes it could be in there

Down the side of the sofa, possibly slipped right down like our remote always does.

Do you file it in a red folder or document file? Or something red?!

Can you describe where you were keepimg them please op?
I'm my head I'm imagining a chest of drawers on ball feet etc, so you slipped it under the base?
Or did you pull out the bottom drawer to pop it in that hidden space if your chest of drawers has a floor 'plinth' area straight to the floor?

Haha sorry I'm a bit rubbish at explaining that, but with either type of drawers- have you checked underside of unit / pulled away from the wall in case it got pushed far under and caught up?

It’s in the box you thought it was in. It’s just pushed right to the front under the lip so looks like the wall of the box.

This is what happened to a pension cheque I had for my dad's estate for over 50k! I was seriously freaking out and thought I would have to go right through the bin. I lifted the "important papers" drawer right out and thankfully it was there.

I'm not a psychic and not sure I believe in it, but had a strong random feeling when reading the thread - "it's in a black bag" that you put it in (to take it somewhere?) and had subsequently forgotten it was there...

Not a clue but I hope you find it!

I will read through after work and try the suggestions.

The chest of drawers is 1930s and on feet/raised from the floor. The paperwork was under it for a while but I moved it, I have double checked too.

Under the bottom drawer. You need to pull it right out.
