Which excellent books have your 10 year olds read recently?

Looking for inspiration for bookworm DD. Recently read Wizards of Once, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Simon Thorn, Harry Potter. Currently reading Warrior Cats.

My 9 year old are in the middle of Harry Potter but sometimes have a break from them and have recently enjoyed I Cosmo, Rhe Accidentally Diary of BUG,and Auggie and Me.

@Pascha those are some of my DDs favourite authors. Have you tried Amy Wilson? Snow globe, Shadows of Winterspell, A girl called Owl?

She's 9 but a huge reader. Like others she devoured the Morrigan Crow series. She's currently absolutely loving the Sinclair's Mysteries by Katharine Woodfine. She's halfway through the 3rd of 4 and is massively enjoying them.

Over the past year or so she's also enjoyed the Roman Mysteries (there are great!), and various David Walliams (I hate them, but whatever - as long it promotes reading I'm not too fussed)

Cherub series by Robert Muchamore is very good.

I can't remember the name of the one she's reading currently but she loves Michelle Harrison

He hasn't but I'll add them to his wish list. All female writers I see.

To put it into perspective there's plenty of Wimpy Kid, World's Worst, 13 Storey Treehouse, Paddington, HTTY Dragon and the Beano in the mix too.
