I'm just after a rough idea of how it costs. Almost dentist want £80-£100 for initial
Appointment, but before I do this I'd just like an idea of how much it costs, is it £100's or £1000's and are you happy with results.

DS had it to fill a small gap between his front teeth. It cost £200 about 6 years ago and it looks fantastic. A lot of it depends on the skill of the dentist to match colour and texture to the original tooth, so I would get recommendations.
It was much cheaper than braces and is expected to last about 10 years.

Depends on the dentist. Some are £300 per tooth. I had mine done as part of Invisalign finishing.

Not yet but will after the end of my braces. I think the composite bonding part will be about £1500 which I think is over 6 teeth (I’m guessing a bit there I know it’s £1500 but can’t remember exactly what the plan is at the end!)

I wouldn’t shop around based on price though, go for the most reputable dentist/orthodontist

Thanks for replies, I have kind of set myself £1000-£1500 so it sound affordable from replies. I only need front 2 teeth doing, is that possible

Yes and it is great, £250 per tooth.

liftthatup · 23/01/2022 21:41

Yes, and it is indeed great. I paid £450 for 6 teeth which is miles cheaper than many here. I’m in Northern Ireland so that may partly explain…? Should have done it decades ago!

Annisa1 · 11/08/2022 22:29

Hi could you tell me where abouts in Northern Ireland and what dentist x

popandchoc · 11/08/2022 22:30

I paid £100 per tooth for my two top middle teeth .

shivermetimbers77 · 11/08/2022 22:32

Yep! I had six teeth done (to fill a large gap in the middle and even things out) about 8 years ago and still going strong. I love them. I had mine done in Turkey so it was
about £300 for the lot but would prob be significantly more now. I think I will need them redoing in the next couple of years.

I’ve had my four top front teeth done after badly chipping one. I’m very pleased with the result but have been told they may last about 5 years, less time than veneers. However, a much less invasive procedure overall. Cost £275 per tooth. I also didn’t realise I would have to wear a retainer every night to protect them!

I went to Peter Steele in Moira dental care. He’s my regular dentist.
Still best thing ever.

Dd had four front teeth done last month, £500 . She has EDS and Crohns so they were chipped and discoloured. She is over the moon with the result.
