Beaver/cub uniforms?

Any Beaver/Cub/Scout parents out there?

DS is moving on to Cubs and I am passing his Beaver uniform on to DD, who is getting invested next week.

I am just wondering if I need to take off all the badges for the ceremony or if I can leave the standard ones (pack strip and county badge) etc in situ?

Anyone already had this?

It seems a pain to take them off and sew them back on for next week!

It probably depends on your Akela but I think you can leave on county, pack etc

I left on pack, county and stuck a sticker over promise badge so it was hidden prior to making promise

Leave them on. Life is too short to take them off and sew them back on a week later! I say this as a group scout leader.

Leave them on! (bloody hate sewing on badges).

Won't you have to transfer them over for the cub? When mine moved up, they weren't given new badges, or a new necker.
You will also need to move over the stage badges...the ones with numbers on (think they are blue?). I only learnt that myself a month ago and mine have been doing it for over 5 years!

If of course, your cub and beaver will be invested at the same time, you could leave the beaver badges where they are and sew your dd's new badges on her brothers cub uniform?

@user1471530109 - yes they are both being invested this week! So I will put the new badges on the cub uniform.
