Hi, I'm not sure what is best to do in this situation. I had a csection 15wks ago as DD was breech and when she was born extremely congested so struggled to latch and feed. By the time she could she gave up after about 30 seconds and I resorted back to formula. I tried to express but nothing ever came except a tiny bit of colostrum which I gave her. Anyway 15wks later she has been solely formula and I've started producing tiny amounts of milk - I haven't managed to express anything yet as tiny amount.... but do I try and breastfeed her now?

Yes, you can build it up from there with lots of skin to skin.

That should be useful.

You might find baby finds it difficult to feed from the breast now though, it is much easier to feed from a bottle as it doesn't require as much effort to get the milk. So be prepared for some frustration. Doesn't mean it's impossible though! You could look into a supplementary nursing system so baby can get some milk whilst learning to breastfeed

Yes, I would give it a go! And/or try to express.
