So i tested positive this morning and i went back to bed at 8.45am. It didnt take me long to fall asleep and when i did it felt like someone had drugged me as i felt like i was tripping out and i kept drifting in and out of sleep, it was like i had been given liquid morphine, i was asleep until 1120 when my partner woke me up but even then i felt like i could have sleept all day.

Has anyone else experienced this

Sounds like a fever.
I had Covid a year ago and although I ran a fever I didn’t register as such as I have a low base temperature.

Yes!! Exactly the same for me, lasted 3 whole weeks. The mega deep sleep was so scary, felt like I was unconscious and couldn’t wake up.

Yes, I have long covid and every time I have a flare up the first sign is really vivid dreams

Yep lasted 3 weeks and I'm still dealing with extreme tiredness another 2 weeks on. I had night sweats, vivid dreams and the drugged feeling. Awful but it does get better, slowly, but it does
