Just wanted to post here for traffic really
The last few days my right breast has been very painful like a deep pain that goes down the side of my breast
It's not hormonal as I am post menopausal and on hrt. I can't feel any lumps. I don't know whether it's something to be concerned about or now any views?

I think this link will be reassuring for you considering you can't find any lumps or changes in your breast/s. Specifically the part which reads:

Noncyclic breast pain: This type of pain doesn’t bear any relation to the patterns of your menstrual cycle. It often feels like a sharpness, burning, or soreness in one area (or areas) of the breast instead of a generalized feeling of pain and tenderness. This type of mastalgia is more common after menopause. The pain may be constant or it can come and go. A common cause is costochondritis, or inflammation of the junction of the bone and the cartilage portion of the rib cage, which can be treated with anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen

Definitely ring the doctors on Monday though and ask to be seen. It's what they're there for and is absolutely worth it to put your mind at rest Smile
