Weekend plans

Cold rainy Friday in my part of the country today, just working from home.

Not much planned this weekend I'm still getting over a flu bug so not much planned maybe a coffee and cake at a new cake shop that we've found locally if we can dig ourselves out.

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant so might do some browsing for nursery ideas online.

What is everybody else upto today and this weekend?

Shooting, gym, walking and eating nice food!

Going out this evening! Just a couple of drinks with friends.

Then will be the usual for a weekend when kids are with their dad - bit of exercise, bit of housework, bit of admin. Although might just say “fuck it” and drive to the coast.

Today is a manic day at the end of a manic week(/month/19 months in this role...) but we should be hitting a major milestone by lunchtime (I'm just waiting for someone else to send me something to check, hence dawdling here while having my coffee).

Our first Cub Scout meeting of the year in the morning, still outdoors in the local park. And the meeting with new parents alongside that - the usual chaos but out of doors... (last year, we were on lockdown so it was online, we were still in the Den in Jan 2020). So tonight I need to chase down a load of paperwork they should have all done...I have 2 of 22 returned to me so far.

And I'll have a load more "start of the year" paperwork to fill in afterwards.

So once they are both done, I want a very long, very hot bath to ease my back and neck, 24 hours asleep, and a quiet day on Sunday. But the teen and dog will make sure that doesn't happen.

Two days negative after Covid so will go for a walk with a friend. Might go and collect new specs. Optician is panicking that I’m not going to pick them up.

Isolating but just had first negative so having another rest day. Enjoy your cake

Cleaning house and sorting washing this afternoon. Watching football, playing darts and drinking beer tomorrow. Sunday a couple of jobs around the house and watching more football. Same as any other weekend 😃

Well so far on my 3 day weekend i habe cleaned the bathroom, now im sat down with a cup of tea and a kitkat cause i dont want to over do it

Tomorrow im going for a walk , with my bestie, all the kids , her mum and the dogs.

Sunday im meeting my mum at a park to see her for her birthday.
(Her choice, i know it seems strange one , but i dont think she likes having all the grandchildren in the house , so she suggested a park picnic )
Monday back to work wondering where the weekend went probably haha

It’s my first full weekend off in ages which is exciting. I finished a big project at work that’s been taking up a lot of head space so looking forward to a slow couple of days and switching off. Hopefully will do some baking.
