Hi op, sorry to hear you’re feeling crap. How’s the relationship been going up until now? What’s the reason behind decreasing the anti depressants?

Majoritycustody · 20/01/2022 12:06

Relationship good. I want to reduce them as they affect my memory. I've tried allsorts and the side effects are bad from them so I want to go without

Ok, that would be a shame to end the relationship at this point then if it’s been good. Did your gp give you any advice about how to reduce the medication in the best way for you?
One option could be to talk to your partner and explain what’s happening? Does anything else help stabilise your mood? Time outside? Exercise? Food? Etc maybe

@Majoritycustody sorry that you are feeling that way. I've been having low mood for ad long as I can remember and only realised in the lat two year that I have low iron and low vitamin d. Now I take high doe of both and no long feel depressed or have the low moods. Please check your levels.

Have you got any other support around you while you're reducing the dose? That can really help you when you're getting used to the lower doses and the mood changes that come with it. Thanks It's not easy but it's good to reach out.
