Hi I am 6months post csection and still have a small hole in the wound open. Ive been to the doctor and just keep getting antibiotics or inadine. I'm due back to work but I took the extra 5weeks parents leave but that's nearly up soon and don't know if I can go back. If I do another of activity the wound flares up. Just wondering has anyone been in this situation 🤔

Would your doctor sign you off sick from work?

hmmm I would go back and be pushy - 6 months is a long time!!!

no good advise but I read silver nitrate can be used to close wounds - may be worth asking about that?

I would demand a referral to the hospital. It shouldn't be like that now.

6 months seems a long time to me.
I had 3 small holes which took 10 weeks to heal. Turns out my body doesn't like dissolvable stitches. They don't want to "dissolve".
