Hi anyone want to join me on my slimming world journey? I've got just over 5 months till I get married and such alot to lose 😬 thought maybe we could motivate each other, share meal and snack ideas and cry together about the things we can't eat 😂.
Wishing you all well in your sw journey 😁

I just had my second weigh in and I'm 5.5lbs down in all. I'm quite happy with that, slow and steady wins the race. I've set myself a target of 3lbs this week though so I'm having some more speed days and going to up my water and exercise too

Well done on your loss that's amazing I've gone totally off track. First week I done amazing then since then I've done rubbish with eating but stuck with exercise which is something. Time to focus ready to get back on it from tomorrow fingers crossed.

I lost half a pound this week hard going very little time to exercise.
Difference I have noticed with WW counting points had good idea if/how much loss depending on points used with SW mostly free food and syns hard to know I try to avoid syns but still week to week hard to determine if I will lose weight.

Hi I'm new to slimming world, I'm on 4th day I need help understanding healthy a and b options , was all a bit rushed at my 1st meeting and come away feeling out of my depth, I've stuck to mainly free foods but do like a couple glasses tomato juice with a dash vodka on a night , I don't eat chocolate , cakes, biscuits stuff like that at all so I don't think I use sync during the day. I have upped my excercise mainly walking and half our on bike but day 4 can't see a lot of difference on the scales although I do feel better in myself any help would be appreciated.

4 days in is early, Lynn.

Healthy B is an allowance of fibre rich food. You are allowed one serving of this food a day- things like weetabix, wholemeal bread, cooked fruit. The book will tell you exactly what the portion of each food is.

Healthy A is an allowance of calcium rich food- cheese, milk etc. You are allowed two servings a day. Again, check the book. It's something like 30g cheddar, 250ml milk etc.

The key is to eat mainly speed and protein foods- apples, celery, cucumber and other veg, lean meat or eggs.
Then your healthy extras.
Then free foods until you feel full.
