Chocolate by post

I want to send someone some chocolate by post. It doesn’t have to be especially fancy, just something to cheer up a young
couple who are struggling with an amazing non-sleeping baby!

Does anyone have any quirky suggestions, before I default to Hotel Chocolate/Thornton’s.

Does it HAVE to be chocolate. There are some fun fudge boxes out there.

MrsPotatoHead22 · 18/01/2022 20:12

This is always my go to. Yummm

Chocolate pizza? It's not really pizza, just looks like one.

I know it's not chocolate, but the giant Millie's cookies cheered me right up when my first was born!

Harry Specter's. They make beautiful chocolates and employ a lot of autistic people. Win win

SparklingLime · 18/01/2022 20:15

Chococo has lovely stuff: www.chococo.co.uk/

I ordered some gifts from here Oban Chocolate Co.

The recipients said they were really good.

DoubleShotEspresso · 18/01/2022 20:27

Highly recommend Harry Specters, and some profits go to a worthy cause 😊

I've bought Martins from Amazon which have been well received.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 18/01/2022 21:43

Gower Cottage Brownies if you’re going for brownies.

SilverHairedCat · 18/01/2022 21:44

Ooh, I have suggestions!

Chocoloco - chocolocotreats.co.uk/ - especially for their text bars. I LOVE their sweary ones for my friends but they do have lovely messages too 🤣

The Chocolate Smiths - www.thechocolatesmiths.com/ - they make "bizarre" bars and they are such a lovely family who make them. Lots of fun and a small business.

SherlocksDeerstalker · 18/01/2022 21:45

I was just coming on to say Gower Cottage brownies too. I send them for gifts all the time.

LemonRedwood · 18/01/2022 21:46

I second Chococo

Also Kennedy's www.kennedyschocolates.co.uk/

CatrinVennastin · 18/01/2022 22:06

@Scarby9 I came on to recommend cocoapod too! The company was started by a friend of mine and their chocolate is lovely.
