Anyone in the North West of England that can help?

Is anyone near me please who knows of anyone practising aesthetics that is low key and discreet, and not an advocate of the current craze for looking like a blow up doll?

I want to explore some very subtle aesthetics treatment to counteract the ageing of my jawline.
I'm 42, and not bothered by my crows feet or forehead lines, I'm just hoping to battle the jowl/sag that's starting around my mouth and chin/jaw.
I'm curious if it can be tackled by injectibles rather than surgery which I won't do.

BUT

I cannot bring myself to go to the well known practices around me, (Cheshire) as they're all the real housewives style filler mad, and every client and practitioner looks terrifying with huge trout pout and inflated cheeks.

If that's what they think looks good it's not for me...

TIA

Would Leeds be too far? I live in the north west but travel to Guiseley near Leeds for my procedures.

Illputtheminapie · 18/01/2022 08:58

@Smurf1984 it's a bit far I think, thank you. Not out of the question but hoping for closer!

How did you find/choose the person you go to?

The Consultant Clinic are in a few places in the UK and have clinics in Manchester and Liverpool. They're very good, I use the one in Harley Street - very experienced and will find out what look you want and stick to it

@Illputtheminapie They're not cheap, but very good Smile You definitely get what you pay for!

The North West is a big area so don’t know whether the Wirral would be local enough but have a look at SDS rejuvenate (if you haven’t already).
I don’t know anyone who has used them, and have never had any work of this type done myself but would think they may be worth considering.
What I can say is that when the two doctors who run the Company worked within NHS, one was a well respected Consultant Physician and the other a GP. The adverts they place in our local magazine seem to advocate a more natural look as opposed to the,as you put it,inflated cheeks and pouts!

Smurf1984 · 18/01/2022 10:20

Firstly by recommendation and then a thorough consultation, I had an idea of what needed doing and she was great at taking me through the process. Ultimately I had to take and chance and it paid off! I’m now a ‘tweek’ convert 😊

Illputtheminapie · 18/01/2022 10:29

That's great thanks all. I'll check the Wirral ones out too, the description sounds very encouraging. Happy to travel that far.

Jonquille Chantrey. She is superb.

Illputtheminapie · 18/01/2022 16:45

Thanks @vinoandbrie - have you used her personally?

Yes I have! Over several years. Really fantastic, and I can promise you I could not remotely be described as having a trout pout / inflated cheeks look 🤣

RunAwayNow · 18/01/2022 18:15

Where in Cheshire are you? My beauty therapist has a doctor who comes in to do cosmetic treatments and from what I can see, he's of the type of approach you're looking for.

Avoid the Consultant Clinic.

Very high staff turnover, high pressure sales techniques, and in their before and after photos, especially the full face rejuvenation images, they filter the before image to make the client look far worse than they did in reality.

ferneytorro · 18/01/2022 18:26

Burnley , discover laser.

Illputtheminapie · 18/01/2022 19:38

Gosh @TooWicked, that doesn't sound good! How do you know this? Have you used then personally? Thanks for your reply.

Would definitely second the consultant clinic they’re amazing!

www.jayaraoaesthetics.co.uk/

She’s an early retired anaesthetist and has been doing aesthetics for several years now. She’s a friend of a friend (and a really lovely woman). Can’t vouch for her work personally as I don’t have treatments but I know several people who use her and I’d never have known if they hadn’t told me. They just look good (and not at all blow up doll!).

bollocksthemess · 18/01/2022 20:09

If you’re Cheshire, there is an amazing lady in Macclesfield who does mine. I’m 38 and do not want to look like a surprised cat.
The Fresh Skin Clinic Macclesfield. I travel from Manchester to see her, she’s the best.

FanGirlX · 18/01/2022 20:11

Michelle at the Traetment Rooms in Grange over Sands. I know she travels from Cheshire 1 day a week, so you maybe able to see her in Cheshire instead.

She is Manchester based and is also an experienced registered nurse

chopsadoodle · 18/01/2022 20:15

Empire aesthetics on the Wirral. She's a GDC registered dental therapist with a private practice as well as doing aesthetics. Fully trained in how to resolve emergency issues if something goes wrong too which is absolutely so important.

AlexisSomethingRose · 18/01/2022 20:18

Emma Chan, near Chorley. Would not go anywhere else.

Illputtheminapie · 18/01/2022 20:38

Brilliant thanks everyone for these, will look at them all Smile
