Still remember the joy when I got a dual tape deck/hi-fi system and could finally edit the all the dodgy recordings into a decent playlist 😂

@OnceUponAMidnightBeery I remember the first tape recorder I had didn’t have an integral radio - it was just a cassette recorder with a mic attached that I had to hold in front of the separate radio to record a song. This meant I not only got the DJ talking over the end but also any other household noises - mum calling dad, telephone ringing, door bell etc throughout the sonf
