My daughter has acid reflux is sick sometimes but mostly just belching an acidic sick into the mouth. She had a tongue-tie done but she still gulps milk and I've tried everything to stop it and I can't I feed upright I pace her feed. now she will grab the bottle and put it back in her mouth if I slightly take it away to give her a break. Ear nose and throat says she doesn't take a breath she will continue to suck until she coughs and chokes and to give the break for her which I do but she goes hysterical and grab the bottle back or what arch her back and scream until I give it he
R back. At this point I'm just going to have to wait until her digestive system is stronger to cope with a gas wind and reflux. What age did your little one start to get better? She's 5 months and things are slightly worse at the moment I think it could be due to teething but it's never really been good. She's dairy-free. I just need to know it does get better. She's on lansoprazole but due to the issue not being resolved and continuing to suck every bottle it's only helps to a point

I’m sorry your nothing going through this - my DS had reflux and it was awful. We used Dr Browns bottles which helped a bit but the biggest help was getting prescribed milk from the doctor which was weighted so the acid didn’t come up the oesophagus. We fed him upright which also helped. It stopped at around 5 months - when they’re sitting up most of the time I think.

My son had reflux for his first year. He also had a tongue tie and was unable to breast feed. It stopped instantly when I moved him from formula to cow's milk.

A year is a long time of crying. I can't wait for her to be a happy baby
