Amazon change about visa plan

Just had an email from Amazon to say they are no longer making the change on 19th January and will continue to accept Visa card. It’s says they are working on a solution with Visa

I was just coming on to ask about this!

It isn't on any of the news sites or on the Amazon site, so I was wondering if it was a scam email.

What do you think?

Not surprised. The reminder emails had been quiet for a bit. Will have to manually cancel prime now!

I don't think it's a scam, but I do think this was their plan all along.

I've had an email too - not overly bothered - but glad I took the £10 voucher off of them for changing my main method of payment!!

I got a £20 voucher

I got a £20 voucher too - spent it before they resolved the issue with Visa! I got an email in early Dec about the change, and whenever I’ve bought anything off Amazon since then, a message appears onscreen saying that they won’t accept visa credit cards from 19th Jan ‘22.

It’s all legit.

I got a £20 voucher and £40 for taking out their credit card, which I use for payment as I get Amazon points.

Well that's a big surprise (not).
