My son has lost his theory certificate, can he still do his practical test. Test is tomorrow.

My son brought his to his tests but was never asked for it.

I did a few tests but was only asked for it the third time. They don't ask every time but if they do ask and he can't produce it they won't proceed with the test.

For ABRSM I have never had to take my theory certificate to the exam (or even been told I should). Which exam board is it, that may make a difference.

Do you need proof of theory when you actually book the practical? I didn't have my theory certificate and had to produce some kind of reference number from it (which I got from whichever body issued it) but I can't remember if I had to provide it when I booked the practical or on the actual day.
What time is the test?

It's for a driving test

He won't definitely be asked but he might be. They won't go ahead with the test if he can't produce it. He might as well attend as he'll lose the money if he cancels now.

Does he have a picture of it from the initial excitement of passing?

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 16/01/2022 19:03

Sorry child jumped on me so I posted too soon. I was thinking the background in any picture might help with jogging his memory for where he's put it.

Frazzledmum239 · 16/01/2022 19:05

Thanks for the replies, he will just turn up and hope he doesn't get asked for it.

OMG I am so sorry Blush, completely misunderstood. I have a music exam this week that requires theory, so clearly have a one track mind!

Hope it goes well.
