I'm taking up the Tarot again after a 20 year hiatus. I would like to practise, if anyone is up for a) asking me a question and then b) giving me some feedback.

(I'll be here until my tea's ready ).

Re your Qu about being 'clairvoyant'. I'm not sure. I've been to see a few clairvoyants, at big and small shows. All of which I felt were 'show-people' rather than gifted / 'genuine'. I used to visit two elderly traveller sisters whose families have been coming to a nearby village for hundreds of years. They defo 'had' something. But I wonder if we could all learn to read Tarot / energies if we were more open / attuned to our own energies better ? I would be drawn more to a person like yourself being open / learning/ offering some free 'practice' comments than a 'Professional' these days x

OldOwls I found your reading difficult. My personal bias is very LTB but the card reading told me the opposite. This is something I'm battling with. I enjoy the tarot, I find it thought-provoking and uncanny, and personally I find it meditative and calming to do. But I worry about people asking me serious questions and letting a reading influence their decision-making. I guess that's their prerogative, but it worries me.

I wouldn't worry. There are so many years of history and layers of thoughts processes before making big decisions that there is unlikely to be one particular thing that makes people decide to do something one way or the other. If anything maybe it would make people realise what they want if they got a reading saying for example yes you should leave then you realise in your heart that isn't what you want to do. I don't want to leave him, in my heart, but I want him to have more empathy for me. There are ways and means of going about that like counselling and I suppose if I abandon the idea of ending it then I can decide on a course of action to improve it. Rather than spending months or years endlessly dithering and not achieving anything. Thank you very much for taking the time to do the reading for me, it's been very thought provoking.

I just wanted to reply now & give you some feedback as you asked for it.

Thank you for replying to my question about your reading.

'Strong, sensual, lustful' is how my best friend would describe me.

She does not approve of the FWB situation, because it's complicated & she knows I want more (not with him, but with someone)

I've had/got some health issues and I had an accident last year, that left me unable to care for myself for months. It has really shattered my confidence (I was just walking at the time, nothing dangerous) and I'm CEV so covid has been (& still is) very worrying). It's really knocked my confidence too. I used to travel alone a lot and now (even without the covid risk) I'm much more worried about everything. If my accident had occurred while I was on holiday I'd have been completely screwed (and it could easily happen again).

There's so much else going on with my house, my job, whether to move back to the country where my mum lives (& I did for years) FIR my mum, not for me.

It's all so complicated.

But I no longer feel strong. I feel weak, scared and unsure what to do about pretty much everything.

clairvoyant. I think quite probably some people genuinely are, but that those selling their services are most likely charlatans.

I think tarot from people who are genuinely interested in it, is interesting & thought provoking. Don't stress about people acting on what you've said, they'll only do it, if they agree, else they'll just say 'Nah, she's a stranger on MN, god knows if she's right or not!'

(No offence). I used to have a friend whose mum does tarot reading & says she's a clairvoyant, my (old/ex) friend takes calls when her mum is busy, cba & just follow scripts etc. the pair of them are a danger/liability! (The reason she's an old/ex friend actually.)

I'd be interested in your thoughts, but please don't force yourself and absolutely no pressure!! Of hurry!

Hmm. I got a very confused reading, so I'd be interested to hear more. This is a reading of contradictions and paradoxes. You will need to stop still in order to move forward and will need to let go of things in order to gain them. There is a man present too. He is a determined character, full of self-confidence. He gets his own way. I do not think he is helpful to you.

@Cissyandflora If you have time to read for me I’d like to know- will my family reach harmony? Or do we need to make drastic changes to our family. Maybe this is too vague. I’m thinking battle on. But maybe we need to take more action

Thank you for your question. The reading spoke of decisive action and taking responsibility for your decisions. It's time to move forward, but work on the facts. Put the past behind you and leave things behind that no longer serve you. Simplify and get back to basics.

This was an odd reading for me, I could not see how it answered your question, but I think you will have more insight than I do.

Very interesting. I am in a relatively new role with quite different people. I am pushing to prove myself but falling behind so need some quick wins!

Also celebrating small steps - I am trying to learn to walk again.
