Have you had a takeaway tonight?

And if so, what? I'm having a Chinese and I've ordered:
Chicken chow mein (but no beansprouts)
Egg fried rice
S+S ribs
Crispy duck with pancakes
Vegetable spring rolls
Prawn crackers

No - because I live in the middle of bloody nowhere and no one delivers here. I will vicariously live via other peoples take always.
We have moved from a place like this, to a place where we are spoilt for choice. It's so so tempting far too often now!

Yes - healthy version of takeaway . I had salmon tikka starter portion and side dish portion of. spinach & chana. I ate this with cauliflower rice from the freezer .

DH had nargis kebab starter , some lamb thing with hot chillis and fried rice !

We had a chippy tea tonight.
Fish Supper for DH
Sausage Supper for Me
Chicken Nuggets and chips for dd
2 Glass bottles of Irn Bru.
It was delicious.
Tomorrow night we are going to a Steakhouse with friends.

Chinese here too.

S and s chicken for child.
Chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce for me.
Pancake roll
Crab claws
Prawn crackers.

But forgot to order the egg fried rice so had to cook some. Which kind of means it wasn’t a proper faff free takeaway. So I am in my head owed another.

Chippy tea here, with fab potato fritters (scallops). And I nicked enough of the kids' chips to make a butty with some homemade bread and approximately 2 inches of butter. Nom.

We are debating getting one tomorrow. Probably chinese

Usually something like the following

Veg hot and sour soup
Salt and pepper sui msi
Dep fried duck plum sauce
Chickrn chow mein
Veg chow mein
Sweet and sour chicken the kind with battered chicken with separate sauce
Egg fried rice
Boiled rice
Scallops
Prawn crackers

Sounds like a lot but thats between 6!

Today I used mozzarella from Lidl.

Tin of chopped tomatoes, clove of garlic, pinch of sugar, salt to taste, fresh basil. Blend and spread on pizza😃

Tonight at the grand old age of 30 I’ve had my first takeaway delivery! We live in a really rural area and a Chinese in the next village has started delivering to our area. We had duck pancakes, rice, salt and pepper chips, crispy beef and beef in black bean. It was everything I hoped it to be.

I always see these takeaway threads and get very jealous of people that have Deliveroo or Uber eats.

Had some sushi from a place round the corne. The maki were nice but the nigiri 🍣 weren’t. Couldn’t finish it.

Saag lamb
Chicken 65
Paneer tikka masala
Tarka dal
Cucumber raita
Pickles
Poppadums
Lachha paratha

I refuse to pay for pilau rice since I can make that at home for pennies!

Steak with porcini sauce, chips, tomato etc and buttermilk chicken with dauphinoise potato, sweetcorn mash, brocoli and gravy. First time ordering takeaway from a steak house and it was pretty good!

I cooked instead.. HelloFresh prawn, butternut squash and lentil curry (ds is at his dad’s and likes neither prawns nor squash, so this was a treat meal for me).
