How long are letters taking to get to you via royal mail right now?

I had one small parcel posted the 17 Dec which arrived on the 24th.

I had some documents sent first class on the 5th of Jan which arrived today eight days later.

Is this standard now or is it just rubbish in my area?

@peridito we’re SE23 and I’m still bitter that the personalised gift bags I ordered in November with everyone’s names on for Christmas plus the replacement set the seller sent after the first ones didn’t show up, both arrived in January!

Yes I feel your pain .When I talk to people I don't know whether to thank them or not for a card I don't know whether they've sent .

And the poor sellers !

We had a delivery of post on 17th December. We had another on 31st. That’s it.

No delivery at all this year. We’re halfway through the month. Hopeless!
