My holiday mashed has both cream cheese and sour cream, as well as butter. It's then baked in a casserole dish with sliced cheddar cheese laid on top. I make them for Thanksgiving too.

Once the rain ends this afternoon there's no precip in the forecast until Wednesday. What part of the country are you in?

I'm in Northern California. We'd heard the weather would blow across the country, maybe it's going to blow itself out before it reaches your neck of the woods.

Your potatoes sound yummy! Mine has shredded cheddar that's mixed in with the potatoes, sour cream, & butter. The recipe originated with some mid-western family members.
