This is ours - smiley side by dd1, dd2's is Christmas lights.

We forgot to put sweets in the side windows 🙄 so it only looks good lit from the front...

Not all the sweets made it onto the house, and now none of us want tea

Does anyone actually eat them? I never bought a kit cos I've never know a child who would eat gingerbread beyond a couple of nibbles!

Ours was made yesterday and there’s only half a roof left 🙈🙈

Here's ours the first year DS has shown interest in decorating hence ALL the decorations 😂😂

I bought a Baked in kit and gave to my DC for a Christmas Eve activity to do together. Tasted really good, much nicer than gingerbread biscuits from the shop. Should’ve photographed it better though!

@Thatldo, let me change that idea for you. My teenage sons effort...... tbf. He decorated the other side nicely 🤣

We make from scratch due to DH allergies but I have cutters to make sure it all fits together!

This was a bit of a cheat as they are from a kit from IKEA. They taste so good though.

Here’s ours - very proud, cooked all the gingerbread and made proper royal icing (so much easier to stick and pipe 😊). Kids loved decorating it
