What time does your Postie show up?

Boring Straw Poll alert!

I’ve recently moved to a new house which must be on the end of the Posties route…typically post arrives about 4pm. Massive difference to the 10am where I used to live. Apparently the norm pre covid too.

Is everyone’s post generally later these days? I used to remember Postie friends finishing at 2pm for the day!

Usually around 10-11am

Our Normal postie is about 11am.
If he's off it can be about 2pm.

Used to be daily at 2pm M to F. Say was 11am.

Since Covid, we consider it to be good if we receive a delivery 2 x a week. Apparently 55% of the RM workforce is currently off sick atm in my neck of the woods.

We live in a big town - post arrives around 4pm, maybe later.

Usually around 6.30pm. This time of year he's still out at 8pm some nights.

Never heard of a postman delivering after midday. I honestly thought they stopped delivering at that time.

Usually the post comes between 9 and 10 but always before 12.

In 2006 it was 7.30 am
Edged later and late until about 11.30am

Now anything up to 9pm

About 3 times a week at the mo.

Last time I spoke to one, our round has been offered as "optional overtime" (even thought it's a fairly easy estate to deliver to) so fuck knows when the next one will be 🤷‍♀️

Usually late morning, though in my part of London we haven't had any post at all for 2 weeks...
