Turkeyless 😭

My Asda order is due today. Just had an email saying there is no Turkey, even though I ordered it a week ago.
I'm Fummming. 😤

iceland have got too if you need one (and you can cook from frozen)

There is still loads of time to go to various supermarkets and find a turkey. Fresh might be harder but I bet you'll find a frozen one easily.

I got one! Fresh, from M&S (and there were plenty of them 🤦🏼‍♀️) 🦃 🎄

I order mine from our local butcher.

I have to remortgage the house every year, but it's worth it.

Every Boxing Day or days after the shops are full of discount turkey crowns, whole turkey etc
I did my food shop today and there was a ludicrous amount of them on sale

I got a fresh one last week...bargain of the century as it was redstickered and for some reason went through the till at practically half the label price plus the 30% off...

It's in the freezer and I think I might brine it....which reminds me, I must look that up!

I usually get lucky with an early bargain, and I keep room in the freezer, just in case.
