Oh crap I'm crying already! Love actually

I have so much to do today and I am sitting with the Roses by the Christmas tree watching Love Actually.

I haven't watched in a few years. Was fully expecting to cry at Emma Thompson (she is amazing) but I'm actually crying at the bloody wedding at the beginning!

Anyone else love it even though they shouldn't?!

Yes - he still looked like a little boy to me who was playing dress up!

How can I watch it? I miss it every bloody time. I love the bit where they are going door to door looking for Martine Mc Cutcheon and the bodyguard breaks into the most gorgeous baritone on the doorstep. The little scenes steal the show.

The airport scene, now more than ever, is incredibly moving and always makes me think of my mum meeting us off the plane when the dcs were tiny. I wish I had appreciated those days more🙁

The score to LA (rather than the soundtrack) is beautiful, and very relaxing to listen to.....Glasgow Love Theme is stunning!!!

I wanted to walk down the aisle to it but knew it would have me in pieces.

I don’t like the film much, but THAT Emma Thompson scene is phenomenal. The way she smooths the bed…. It’s a superb scene.
