Missing lady - Petra Srncova - nurse from Evelina Children’s Hospital London

Petra Srncova has not been seen for 2 weeks. Link to Bbc news. This has not been in the press for some reason but is clearly very worrying.

She’s a 32yr old nurse last seen getting off a bus 28th November.

Anyone local to Camberwell area?

This is really chilling. I was on a night bus through Camberwell around 3am this morning coming back from my Christmas party. Makes you realise how risky it can be.
I don’t understand why it’s only getting press now 2 weeks after her disappearance.

I was just about to share the same link and also wondering why it took so long to be made public. A woman local to me has been missing for a long time now and I don’t think that ever made national news either. Makes me wonder how many others there are.

I heard this on the radio today, two weeks, why is it only making news now?

I saw this on Sky News at lunchtime. I thought the coverage was odd. It showed HH doing an appeal. Then stated a man has been arrested. But clearly the BBCs coverage is the same.

No idea why not even in the local news/bbc london. Bump.

Sky news have reported Forensics at her flat today.

@BabbleBee there are so many missing persons. I am starting volunteer work for a charity and have read the statistics.

I think the police know who is involved, but need more info. They have a man in custody.

I saw a piece about this on the local TV news this evening (ITV, I think)

There has been an arrest (they didn't say what for) and the police might have had reasons for timing of the public appeal. They still hope she can be found safe, which is a thought to hang on to

Or I wondered if they thought they knew what has happened (hence arrest) but actually he’s not talking so they’ve gone to the public?

could the delay be because they have a suspect. Poor women.

@LagerthaofKattegat no absolutely nothing until today. Although I admit I’m not a radio listener or news watcher but I do use Twitter a lot and follow all the major news sites

That’s so surprising. It does sound like it’s something to do with someone she knows. Ie this man in custody.

Awful to think it is 2 weeks though when someone might have seen something and not even realised what they had seen or heard or knew.

The police who are searching for her have found a body in Brunswick Park
Poor woman and so devestating for her family and friends.

I've just had a news notification about the discovery if a body.

Surely she can't have been there the whole time since she disappeared? It's not as if it's remote or large

So sad to hear another woman has died, who am I kidding , has been murdered. My condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.

Her body cannot have been there 2 weeks. It’s a small park really. And kids just found it while playing. How awful for them too.
