Birthday party invitation

Hi guys, my 6 ys old got a bday party invitation today and I'm not sure whether I'm being unreasonable.
So the party will be in 2 days' time. I am supposed to drop off my 6 years old in a busstop, where the birthday child's grandma is going to take the 6 years olds by public bus to a big town 40 minutes away, they go to McDonalds and then bowling.
I don't know her, maybe I have seen her at school, I wouldn't recognise her. I feel very uncomfortable about it. I don't know how she would manage a bunch of 6 years olds, who she's never seen before. I don't think I would like to leave my 6 years old child with a person I don't know, to take him to a place which I don't know , he would be 40 minutes away from me...
Would you let your child go, or would you not? Many thanks.

I'd decline the invitation also.

Has Covid gone now? Confused
No, of course not. But I thought children's birthday parties are not against the law at the moment, am I wrong? You are absolutely right, we need to be careful. But these kids are actually playing together 6 hours a day in school - no such thing as a 2 m distance in primary school. I agree about the public bus though.

@Santahatesbraisedcabbage

A bunch of unvaccinated dc on a bus. Smashing idea... Over 58.000 cases today if you care...
I don’t ! Thanks for playing though, troll.
