Christine Quinn - Selling Sunset C Section?

Anyone else watching SS and totally confused how Christine Quinn is doing yoga, wearing huge heels and mini skirts a few days/weeks after a c section?
It’s frying my brain! Surely something is a miss?!

There's an Irish instagrammer who had an emergency c-section 3 weeks ago and she's already back in the tight frocks and heels, has been to a Prinark influencer night out thing and another night out with her husband. She looks exactly like she did before pregnancy. And flawless makeup every day. I'm absolutely baffled by it. I had an emergency section 4 years ago and i think i remember walking around the block pushing the buggy after about three weeks but i was still leaking from every orifice and it was still sore getting up and down from the loo/chair. I think these women will regret the rapid 'bouncing back' and wish they had just given their bodies and babies the time that nature intended.

I think she was pregnant but pushed both the timeframes and herself to the max because the narrative seems to be all about bouncing back. I don’t think a lot of what she was doing is possible so soon after a section. I do think she was pregnant though as you could see her feet were swollen in some of the later pregnancy scenes.

@Luxembourgmama terrie mcevoy. I really like her but i just think it's crazy to be out on the town when your baby isn't even 3 weeks old. Maybe that's judgemental of me though.

I really liked Christine until this season now she seems batshit. The c section timeline is fake I bounced back so fast from my c section and was at yoga 5 weeks 4 days later but it took months to get my abs in any sort of order prob 4 months. No way was she doing a head stand at 2 weeks.

I guess they filmed that later and stuck it in to make it look good. Between that and her other clear lies I'm right off her.

Thinking about it Kim Kardashian said about leaving E the new show would be much more in real time I'm sure she mentioned how it was filmed over months and pieced together not in the right order. It might have been on the Idris and Sabrina podcast she said it I can't quite remember.

I'd guess this happens a lot bit no one talks about it these shows do need to follow a script.

I think she seemed a bit fragile cimpaired to previous episodes I wonder if she really did have this horrible birth and they took advantage of her to get views.

I’ve just looked at her Instagram account and there are loads of pregnancy photos, including a Playboy shoot which I think would be hard to fake.

I had thought surrogate but maybe it was just the timeline was expanded, so rather than doing headstands 2 weeks postpartum it was more like 2 months.

Also, her birth story doesn’t seem believable (“save them both” etc), especially given how easily she lies in other parts of the show. She obviously loves drama and attention so makes sense for her to use the birth this way.

She clearly didn't do much research on where a surgeon cuts you open during the process.................

She's shared photos of herself wearing a very skimpy bikini and there are pap shots of her carrying the baby in a bikini. Not one hint of a scar, given mine is at least 1" above my pubic area and very visible 25 years on!

She must have had one hell of a surgeon is all I can say Hmm

That scene of her carrying the newborn down the stairs in sky high heels terrified me, was so scared she would drop it! I can barely walk in 2 inch heels 😂

I didn’t have a swollen stomach from about a week after my c sections and was back in my jeans after about 7-10 days but I could NOT have done yoga. We went to a zoo when DC3 was 2 weeks old and I was fine walking round there all day but no to headstands and yoga 😂 not that I tried.
God knows how she has done it!!

@RubyTuesday70 that might be different now tbh. My first c section was 2014 and my last was 2019 and my scar is below my bikini line.

The headstands 3 weeks after a csec confirmed it for me - she defo used a surrogate. The heels and mini dress 3 days post birth was ridiculous but I could see it being done for the TV, but a fricking headstand? Come on!

My csection x3 scar sits below bikini line, nobody would ever see it. What I found not too believable was the extremely fitted clothes supposedly on an incision wound. Even on my last csection which I felt fine after very quickly I wouldn't have worn things that tight when I still had stitches and steri strips.

She did the splits while she was on her head. I can't see how anyone could do that after a CS and not rip the stitches.

I don't believe she was pregnant. It was inevitable that her so-called birth was going to be full of drama. If she did have a baby it would've been a planned Caesarean.

I can believe she snapped back into shape based on small bump, height, lots of fitness during pregnancy etc and they just pushed her really hard to come back. Sad, really.

The yoga scene was nuts though, that must have been on a different timeline.

I think it's the timeline and she was filmed a bit later. I never believed all the women who said that they bounced back within two weeks without effort till it happened to me. I had a c section, could have driven two weeks later, could have done yoga at four weeks (not two but still pretty quick), lost all the pregnancy weight in ten days.

Still had a very flabby and soft belly for ages though (could poke a whole hand in there), and also didn't do any belly exercises for the first ten months because it feels different and I couldn't be arsed. So no idea how quick someone could get back to a fit looking belly really.

I'm more surprised that she doesn't look tired. No amount of make up could have hidden my exhaustion. I looked like a bed headed zombie.

I'm only halfway through the series but also noticed her in pain. I think she pushed herself very hard.

Having looked at the pregnancy photos maybe it is just the timeline that’s been played with. I don’t think that’s great of the producers though, as is potentially dangerous if women think two weeks after major abdominal surgery they should/could be doing head stands!

Say what now?! She's been a shit-stirring narcissist from the get-go. I love selling sunset but find Christine quite hard to watch because she has such major issues.

I haven't watched the birth episodes yet but happy to believe it was a surrogate, since I'm 8 weeks post section and walking round the supermarket to stock up on cake is about as hard as I'll push myself.

I don't think she'd get away with faking her pregnancy, plenty of people out there who would be delighted in making some $$$s from outing her. I think the timeline has been distorted though which I agree is irresponsible. Its also a different world in many ways, plenty of 'celebs' snap back quickly due to the pressure to not be seen as a mere mortal; I wouldn't be surprised if she had all sorts of interventions following the birth.

I agree. She did the playboy shoot, which would have to have been completely photoshopped. I’m aware playboy photoshop but that would be quite a lot of people knowing she wasn’t pregnant and the pictures were totally fake.

Yeah I also believe she was pregnant. The timelines are just off. You can also see it with Mary, the scenes of her with overfilled lips and without switch the whole time.
