Extra deep fitted sheets - save me from more wasted purchases!

Please help save me from throwing more money away…

We have a king size bed but a very thick (and lovely) mattress topper that is making finding a good quality fitted sheet impossible. John Lewis and M&S sheets aren’t deep enough. Next extra deep sheets are just about fine but not great quality

Would super king be better? Or would they fit badly? Where are we missing for high quality sheets that fit?!!

Soak and sleep. I read about them on here. Quality has been great and fits the deep mattress well.

Yet another vote for dunelm. I have the deepest mattress I could find to make getting out of bed easier. Dunelm extra deep sheets are perfect for it.

King of cotton is worth looking at.

We have all of our super king bedding from them and it's superb. We have a very thick topper

I got mine from Amazon, great quality

Hippychicken1 · 24/11/2021 22:00

Dunlem or Amazon
Either 32 Cm or 40cm deep sheets depending on the depth of your bed
40cm are generally best
And you can get bed corner grippers on Amazon that keep the corners of the bed sheets in place for about a fiver

mrsmacmc · 24/11/2021 22:02

Dunelm all the way!

Elzbells · 24/11/2021 22:04

Amazon deep sheets egyptian cotton are amazing. Wash brilliantly, don't need ironing, never ping up and lovely to sleep on

I'm giving up on fitted sheets - hard to iron, fiddly to store and never seem to stay put on the bed. It's going to be flat sheets going forward!

HeatingOnHeatingOff · 24/11/2021 22:07

Sheridan fitted sheets fit up to 38cm depth

mrsbyers · 24/11/2021 22:27

Another dunelm user , I have a thick topper and they fit brilliantly (extra deep)

Sleeptillnoon · 24/11/2021 22:29

Rise & Fall. They are expensive and hard to get hold of (always out of stock on their website) but we've tried loads of different makes (inc John Lewis) and these are the only ones that fit properly and don't slip off. Definitely worth the money.

HoardingSamphireSaurus · 26/11/2021 11:46

Iron???

Wrong universe, sorry!

HelenRose1111 · 26/11/2021 11:51

I use jersey bottom sheets, the extra stretch helps!

Ginisatonic · 26/11/2021 11:55

Rise and fall have extra deep sheets. They have a rubber edge to them so they stay in place and don’t slip. Feel really good too.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 26/11/2021 11:56

Mine came from Amazon and they are the softest sheets ive ever had and the only ones that stay on the bed.

NightmareSlashDelightful · 26/11/2021 12:01

My mattress + topper is 30cm/12" deep in total (if that helps)

I buy White Company extra deep fitted. The quality of WC bedding isn't what it used to be, in my opinion, but it's still OK and the sheets fit.

beetr00 · 26/11/2021 13:17

@BruceAndNosh Brilliant site recommendation, great prices, what a time sink though Grin

goldenshoe · 26/11/2021 15:10

I just bought an extra elasticated fitted sheet from Rise & Shine and I'm very pleased with it. I browsemumsnet work in my bedroom so I just measured how deep my mattress is and it is 14 inches including a topper, these sheets fit way around the bottom and stay pretty tight. Only washed it once but it held up well.
