I need a new series to start binge watching please! Things I've watched recently and enjoyed are suits, scandal, quantico. I don't like things like game of thrones or that type of thing. My favourite series are greys anatomy, desperate housewives, station 19 so nothing too gory or serious I suppose!
Quite like crime drama type things too.

Realise now I've written it down I probably haven't left much options 😂

I've just read that Keeping Up Appearances is on iPlayer so that's going to be my next binge.

AnaViaSalamanca · 20/11/2021 20:18

Have you seen good wife? Wire?

emphasisofmatter · 20/11/2021 20:19

Have you watched Designated Survivor? Or Bosch? Both excellent

Have you watched Sex Education? It’s brilliant, clever and funny.

magicstar1 · 20/11/2021 20:27

Private Practice is a spin-off of Greys Anatomy, and it’s all on Amazon Prime now

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 20/11/2021 20:29

watch S.W A.T.
but you can't have Luca or Hondo. they are my imaginary boyfriends!😁

DSArnott · 20/11/2021 22:00

If you’ve not seen The Good Wife then that’s a must. And lots of series to binge too.

Also

Chernobyl
Succession
Line of Duty
Normal People
The West Wing
The A Word

Mind hunter on Netflix out profiling serial killers
Justified (maybe only on dvd now but worth the money)
Sopranos on sky

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 20/11/2021 22:17

Spiral, on iPlayer. French detective series. Absolutely gripping.

TrashPanda · 20/11/2021 22:18

I've just finished Elementary on Amazon Prime which I enjoyed. The Good Wife and The Good Fight I also enjoyed.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 20/11/2021 22:21

@TrashPanda

Jonny Lee Miller is the best Sherlock ever. hands down, no contest. And Lucy Liu being Watson is a stroke of genius.
I've already seen the whole lot but rewatching with DH because it's fantastic and both actors are absolutely marvellous.

TrashPanda · 20/11/2021 22:30

@ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba

I completely agree, I actually cared about the 4 main characters and what happened to them. I also loved how funny it was. I need to get DP to watch it, I’d be constantly showing him funny bits.

Other stuff I loved but that might not quite fit in with OPs wants. Schitt’s Creek, Normal People, Dead to Me, Sex Education, Never Have I Ever, The Good Place

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 20/11/2021 22:38

@TrashPanda

It is very funny. I love Cpt & Marcus too.
Dead to me is good (on 1st season).
I couldn't get into Schitt's Creek. Loved The Good Place

I watch & re-watch a lot of shows on Netflix, Prime & Disney + all the time, lots of stuff I've seen have been mentioned here already.

I can't wait for last seasons/parts of Money Heist & Ozark.
I hop between lots of things, just finished The Listener, still jumping between Key & Peele, 30 Rock, Armstrong & Miller, Community etc

Startup was pretty good.
And I'm gonna re-watch Person of Interest for the umpteenth time soon, it's just a fantastic show, again an absolutely brilliant cast. So is White Collar

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 20/11/2021 22:39

And Brooklyn 99.
I can't seem to find when last season is available in the UK

Hoptoit1 · 20/11/2021 22:39

Peach1204 · 20/11/2021 22:54

From what you have said you enjoyed I'd recommend body of proof.

MalingeringMary · 21/11/2021 00:58

A Touch of Frost. Caught an episode after a night at the pub, ended up spending £40 on the box set!

PussyCatEatingPigsInBlankets · 21/11/2021 08:27

The West Wing is on All4 (free)

@PussyCatEatingPigsInBlankets

all the seasons???

KeepTwirling · 21/11/2021 09:39

If you liked Scandal and Grey's Anatomy, you can watch 'How to get away with murder'. By the same producer, Shonda Rhimes.

HTGAWM has all you like: crime, court, drama drama, drama.Grin

KeepTwirling · 21/11/2021 09:44

Think I'll be adding this thread to my list of films to watch, although I've enjoyed most of what's written already and I'm more of a fantasy genre watcher now. Thanks OP for starting.

Also try "Little Fires everywhere".

I second 'The Good Wife'.
Try 'The Good Fight' too.
