I also watched him finish this morning, is was quiet something. An amazing achievement, its going to rake a bit for his arms to recover.

I think he was new to weather forecasting on TV when he was in my area and you could see him getting experience and being more comfortable being in public and letting his humour come through. Lovely young man.

Really moving and joyful. I’ve had a little go of mass drumming in the past and it’s fantastic.

His drumming along to the news theme was badass. Such a natural, relaxed drummer.

We're big fans of his, and think he has done a brilliant job. His drumming the theme tune of News at 10 last year was the best thing I had seen on TV for a long time.

I didn't even know children in need was on, it's not something I ever watch but I saw this on Twitter today and must have watched it 30 times. It is fabulous, he is fabulous, all the drummers are class. Just such a joyous production 😍

I really enjoyed watching Owain, he’s such a sweetie!

There’s something about drumming that’s almost a primeval thing, and has been done by many tribes and races for thousands of years, spiritual, even.

If you’ve never seen them before, check out The Top Secret Drum Corps from Switzerland. They are quite amazing, and have featured on the Edinburgh Tattoo in previous years.

I've watched various clips and continue to be really moved by it. He's an absolute tonic and joy to watch
