How was your day?

My day was okay. Uneventful. Had the day off work so caught up on some washing, baked an apple cake, that sort of thing.

P.S. Not a journo. Just hoping that people had a good day!

Started a new job today. It was OK I think! Came home about lunchtime (it's an early start with early finish). Ate lunch, collected dc2 from preschool, took him to the shops and the park. Went back for dc1 who had an after school activity. Came home, made dinner, watched a bit of Moana, drank wine and now blow drying my hair ready for the same again tomorrow!

@FarmCat31 soul destroying isn’t it. I almost didn’t go in. Poured my heart out and answered everything honestly. No advice or offer of any kind of support in between. It’s a specialist eating disorder clinic and has taken me 12 years to ask for help. I luckily have a very supportive DH keeping me going.

I was back to work today after some time off. I'm struggling massively with pelvic pain as I'm pregnant and really uncomfortable. I'm lying in bed feeling my baby kicking away which is making the pain worthwhile (slightly). Dreading tomorrow as I was in considerable amounts of pain which spread right up to my shoulders!

I've caught up with my 2 oldest friends, known since I was very small. I love them like family and haven't seen either for so long due to covid...I can't tell you the lift it's given me

I’ve had a lovely day.
Took the dog for a sunny walk to the shops and got some lovely clothes in the sale and charity shops.
Met 2 ladies for a naked swim (only me naked) in a local lake - very cold but fun!
Cooked up some fruit so as not to waste it and played 2 hours of racket sport this evening.
My DH gave me a long foot massage.

Dog sleeping on me right now - I should go to bed…..

It's my 40th!! I've had a fabulous day, thank you.

Oh and had a haircut and cuddled my hairdressers tiny puppies who all have homes to go to!

Here's to a good day today

I woke after 7 hours sleep so was thrilled.

DH was WFH as weather nice he decided to take time off mid day and work in the evening. Went for a woodland walk in wellies . Got back and had a nice lunch together while watching an episode of You on nextflix. Did some laundry, cooked char siu pork. DS and I gamed together for a couple of hours. DH and I watched another episode of our box set and ate choc chip cookies snuggled up. DS had overtime so set off for work straight after dinner.
