What's your ring size?

I have shorter fingers and I wouldn't say they are chubby either. I measured my finger next to my little finger and it was 60mm circumference. Not a single ring was available in that size on grace and co. I found several rings on there that I liked. I decided to look on a few other jewellery shops online and nothing stood out to me as much and also not really any of my size.

So what size are you fingers? I'm disappointed with it as I guess I won't be able to find much.

R, but I have large bony hands (crows feet Grin) and quite skinny long fingers so surprised it is that big, I am size 8-8.5 glove size though which is XL for a woman

emmathedilemma · 21/10/2021 09:54

I don't wear rings but you had me intrigued so I got the tape measure out. Can't find the fabric one and it was quite tricky with the stiffer DIY one but I reckon between I, J or K.

fuckitbucket16 · 21/10/2021 09:56

My engagement ring is an M and my wedding ring is an O. They look absolutely ridiculous together 😂

The M fits better and holds the O on 😂

My left is an I, my right is a J

Lonecatwithkitten · 21/10/2021 10:29

@shangelawasrobbed

J on the left, K on the right.
Me too. My rings came from Harriet Kelshall who made me beautiful rings that suit and fit small hands well. Bespoke rings are not much more expensive than off the shelf particularly if you have little fingers.
Whowhenhowwhy · 21/10/2021 10:55

I don't have large hands or fingers but based on most replies on here I have. I called the shop they only do n o and L. So I've accepted I can't have it lol.

Ring fingers O and P
Little fingers L and M

My husband's wedding ring fits my little finger Grin

LadyPoison · 21/10/2021 11:11

Interesting - the current opinion in the jewellery trade are that most ring sizes are O and up. Most commercial rings are far too big for me and don't get me started on bangles... they are all huge!

I'm an M myself for my ring finger and can wear any size up tp P depending on which finger I choose.

Most rings I make for sale are available in any size on request. I have the rings finished to the point that all I have to do is attach a band and set the stone.

LER83 · 21/10/2021 11:15

I'm a J, which appears to be the norm on here! My engagement couldn't be re-sized that small so its got little white gold 'blobs' inside the band to make it smaller. I had my wedding band made.

NatMoz · 21/10/2021 11:20

I'm M and a half. This fits both hand ring fingers (I do swap them depending on what other rings I wear) but is a bit more snug on my left.

thesparklingdiamond · 21/10/2021 11:37

When I got engaged, I was a size F. Now, over 20 years later, I'm about an H. Almost all my rings are from antique shops or auctions, its the only way I can get my size.

amusedbush · 21/10/2021 11:45

N.

I’m 5’ 4 and a size 16 with short, squat hands (goblin hands, as my husband affectionately calls them Blush)

Howshouldibehave · 21/10/2021 11:48

My ring finger is an I, the other hand is an H. I had to have rings resized to fit but it’s not been a problem

Ughmaybenot · 21/10/2021 11:49

My wedding ring is an N and my engagement ring is an N 1/2. I’ve never thought my hands are that big and they certainly don’t look it but I’m starting to doubt myself by this thread 😂
My husbands hands are huge, his ring choice was so limited because of how big the ring needed to be. I’m sure it was an X or something. It’s like a hula hoop even on my thumb 😂

CornishGem1975 · 21/10/2021 11:50

J and I thought that was tiny but given the responses on here, not so much!

Sleepyhamster · 21/10/2021 11:56

I would have thought average is around an N? We sell jewellery where I work and when reps bring samples the rings are always around N /O, I always have a lot of fun trying them all on as they always fit me. We usually have this size as a display size and order in different sizes on request.

Mammyloveswine · 21/10/2021 11:58

My wedding and engagement rings are a "j"... having put 3 stone on they no longer fit 🤣

SirChenjins · 21/10/2021 11:58

I - which is a faff as I always have to get rings resized

Crocky · 21/10/2021 11:58

G.

cultkid · 21/10/2021 11:59

H and they can be a bit big on me

I have to get mine re sized

Sn0tnose · 21/10/2021 12:04

Jumbo battered sausage size after the last couple of years.

We’ve already had my wedding ring re-sized once (it was DH’s grandmother’s ring) and I daren’t do it again because it’s so old, so it’s safely tucked away.

ArblemarchTFruitbat · 21/10/2021 12:06

N usually on my ring fingers but if it's a very thick band I might need an O.

Phoebesgift · 21/10/2021 12:27

I'm an N.

Whowhenhowwhy · 21/10/2021 16:22

I've given up on rings and got earrings instead. Sizing is so complicated. I really don't think I've got chunky fingers. I will be looking at ladies hands to see now lol.
