What would you do with 10k??

Soo I’m having a day dream

What would you do if somehow 10k magically became yours?

I think I’d buy a new sofa and be boring and shove the rest in savings

We’re hoping to move house next year so it would go in the new furniture/decor fund.

I’d add it to the children’s savings and give them some each in their daily accounts to treat themselves with.

Pay it off the mortgage

Give it to Mercy ship, most amazing charity, all 400 crew are volunteers and save so many lives.

Pay off a 10k chunk of my debts, boring!
In a none debt life I'd put some into savings and some on a holiday.

Just about clear my credit cards (depressing!).

Get whatever cosmetic dentistry 10k would cover.

Put it my pension

Pay off our debts (Around 4kish) and book a nice holiday for the family, the rest would go in the savings. Boring! 😂

My parent recently gave me 10k out of the blue, money that would of been part of inheritance but a sibling had a reason for them to release money early so I got some too.

I recently had a baby, so some money went a couple of baby bits we needed , not much because it's not our first but really nice bits; a lovely changing bag and car seat, some went on lunches out and shopping trips we went on while OH was on combined annual/paternity leave so was off work for a good few weeks , I got some new bits for my wardrobe because it was lacking a lot especially after a long hard pregnancy. Will probably put a good chunk towards a nice holiday, we have vouchers from previous cancelled holidays (Covid) so with that and topping up a couple of grand from this money should be something really special for us as a family and the rest of the money will be saved.
