Just cooking duck spring rolls ( accidentally typed fuck lol 🤣🤣🤣) to keep me going until DH gets home. Then we’re having Gino de Campo pasta meals & garlic bread. Had a quieter day than expected as I cancelled my plans because I had a horrible headache. One more shift at work then I’ve got 10 days off. Hoping for some Autumn sunshine. DD12 has a 2 week halfterm. It only seems 2 minutes since they started year 8!

Currently loving Married At First Sight Australia. We like Patrick and Belinda 😂 Very funny together! He’s such an adorable nerd.

The girls are upstairs. It sounds like dd1's learning something new on either her guitar or ukelele; I'm not sure which. Dd2 will either be playing Minecraft or reading.

I've not long ago put down my current crochet project - a ghost for dd1. I'll finish off tomorrow then start one for dd2.

I'll finish this episode of Once Upon A Time, then it's bed time for the three of us since we're going out tomorrow.

Listening to music on alexa. DH is on PC gaming. We've just done an online quiz. DD is upstairs with her boyfriend. I will be going to bed shortly.

I'm on the sofa with a cup of tea and a Kit Kat chunky. Husband is shuffling about (it's the slippers! 🙄) in the kitchen tidying up. DD is upstairs in her room and the little one is asleep peacefully. I'm so glad it's the weekend after a long week in the NHS job but I'm happy and content.

I'm lying on my bed, bending my legs under my bum alternately in an effort to loosen them a bit. In a moment of madness yesterday I decided to run for an hour, having not run at all for several months (I managed it!). Today my thighs and hips are so stiff I can't stand up straight.

DH and both DC are all bundled in DS's room listening to an audio book.

My toddler is up having a cheeky night feed and a snuggle. I'll probably head to bed when they're asleep again.
Quietly enjoying the peaceful night time snuggle. I miss him bring my baby already.

Ds1 gaming in his room- which is distracting him from the cast he had put on his broken wrist today.
Oh is out doing the weekly shop.
I'm in bed, Christmas shopping online and mums netting whilst making a mental list of all the jobs I should be doing instead but probably won't.
Really want to have a gin and tonic but am currently on antibiotics so probably shouldn't.

In bed, lovely dinner (BBQ steaks, Prosecco & red wine), winding down reading the Booths Christmas Book , nice chat with our DS earlier who is working & living away from home. Now avoiding my DH's amorous suggestions . Fortunately we have separate bedrooms & he has disappeared off !

I work Saturdays so like to get a reasonably early night.

Watching iplayer proms (Broadway concert) beside a fire with DH. Nest is very quiet as all children are fledging and away this weekend.
