Who else is in bed already?

I have a 9 month old who wakes at 5am each day, and my school-run alarms for older children start at 6am, so there's no going back to sleep when she wakes me. Early nights have been the default since trimester 1x my poor husband despairs of seeing me after 9pm ever again. So what's your excuse for already being under the duvet 🥱 ?

Me. I'm in long Covid and have chronic fatigue so I'm constantly tired. I try to stay up throughout the day, but by about 8pm I feel I can decently go to bed without stressing that if I sleep I'll then be awake by 2am and unable to drop off again.

Me! Over the years my bedtime has gradually gone from 10pm to 8.30. If I'm not in bed by 9 I get twitchy 😂 I once got invited out to a birthday meal and was horrified when they said the table was booked for 9pm! I thought what kind of buggery is this!!
😆 That's great! Amazing how times change eh lol. I do still go out and a lot later than that. But I do also have many moments like you as well!

Dp is away working on a rare overnight trip so I'm taking full advantage of snuggling up in bed with ddog who doesn't get on the bed usually, she is in her glory haha

Me. But then again it is a bit later here.

It's 10.15pm. I'm usually in bed anytime from 9.30pm. But I do get up at 5am.

Me too. I'm tiddling about on MN with my electric blanket on, hanging it out until 9.30 when I will pick up my book. I will be asleep by 9.35.

3 month old baby is in bed. I sleep when baby sleeps as he doesn't sleep enough for me not to.

We have been in bed since 8pm. Currently in the Scottish Highlands and after being out walking / climbing since 8am I'm bloody knackered - so here I am, wine in hand.

I’d love to go to bed, but if I put the dog out for a wee before 10pm he’d prob have me up in the night 😭

Yep…in bed by 845. Feeling tired and chilly. Have got my doggie in bed with me as well…perfect!
