Your most WTF mansplaining experiences

Inspired by a thread in AIBU, which is the most WTF mansplaining I've heard of so far in my long life .
Mine was having pregnancy sickness explained to me by a 17 year old male kitchen apprentice whilst I was throwing up in the staff loo with my 2nd pregnancy. Oh and I work in healthcare.
It was all in my head , all I had to do was TELL myself I was fine & my borderline hyperemesis would magically disappear 🙄

Amazing Grin

I always feel a bit mean recounting this, as clearly he struggled with his weight. I was dating someone who was morbidly obese and imo had a binge eating disorder, emotion related. I was/am a normal BMI, but he would insist on mansplaining to me about diet, nutrition, and exercise, whilst simultaneously wondering why he'd put on yet more weight this week. Most memorable was spending 20 minutes showing me 'proper form' for doing a squat (I had no interest in doing squats), and telling me that the food I brought to work would make me fat as it was so high in carbs - yet he had no problem eating a dominos for lunch and need a 'snack' two hours later.

As I say, he obviously had problems that ran deeper than simple mansplaining, so I never did anything other than smile politely, but I could never quite get my head around, of all the things he could be knowledgeable about, he felt he just had to lecture me on all things food and fitness...
