I'm having a budget wedding and making pom pom garlands as decoration. So I need to make about a million pom poms! What shows shall I binge while sitting making these for hours every evening?

If that was me, I'd be watching Jane the Virgin again. It's properly brilliant.

And the good place, that was good.

@RedRiverShore

I have just finished Six Feet Under, that was very bingable
Where's this on? I have all of the seasons on dvd, but no dvd player! I'd love to rewatch it. Loved that when it first came out!

Bridgerton
Ginny & Georgia
Orange is the New Black

It's A Sin (although very teary at the end)
Baby (it's in italian, but there's an English dub, you don't have to read subtitles!)

@VetOnCall

Definitely Superstore, I binged the first 3 seasons then rationed the rest as I didn't want it to end.
Agree, it’s funny and sharp and it doesn’t really matter if you doze off and miss a few minutes. I binged the lot, but am very happy if I am flicking through and catch an odd episode by mistake.

@MollyBloomYes

Just leaping on here both to recommend This is Us and if you don't mind signing up to another subscription service I've found BritBox has quite a lot of old itv and bbc drama type stuff as well as some new things. That's how I finally managed to plow my way through Broadchurch.

I kind of want to watch Wandavision but haven't watched any Marvel stuff at all-how much do I need to know before watching it?!

Hugely tempted by squid game but horror/gore isn't my usual thing. It does sound very good though!

I haven’t watched any marvel stuff either, and have watched a few Wandavision episodes, I imagine you get more from it if you know who is who in Marvel land, but I just go with the flow.

Another for the binge watch is the Americans, but I admit I didn’t get beyond half way through season two as it all got a bit samey samey.

White Collar, Emily in Paris (series 2 pending), Call My Agent. All on Netflix

viques · 01/10/2021 14:04

Just remembered Life in Pieces. Brilliant cast, very smart and funny script.

@SummerOrAutumn

Gilmore Girls. Have been ill this week and have watched the whole of Series 1 and started Series 2. Comforting, and doesn't need too much concentrating to follow the story.

Also, Friends, and Travels with My Father (Jack Whitehall & his dad - maybe a bit niche but funny).

Second vote for Gilmore Girls, it's excellent background tv.
