I’m just annoyed at everyone and everything. When ppl come to my house I get annoyed and feel as if they’re invading my personal space.. when people talk too much or ask me too many questions or don’t hear me the first time, I get really annoyed.. I have 0 patience and people must get things done on my timing or else I’ll be angry/upset and I hate waiting for others.. there’s so much more.. I just want to know what u lot think is wrong with me or if I’m just a little b*tch
@Seventhascent I’m not happy with where I am in my life but I always tell myself I’m not depressed but I am sad most of the time then when I think about why I’m actually sad there’s nothing to be sad about
You don't need something to be sad about to be depressed. Depression can be chemical or situational or a result of past trauma or come from low self esteem. Having no one for 2 years could be pretty traumatic, depending on the why and how you coped and if it was what you wanted. Anxiety can manifest as anger. I'd think having people around when you'd previously not could cause anxiety about if the isolation would happen again. Lots of things could be in play. GP would be my first stop. A good GP can help you work out if it's depression or anxiety or something else. There are medical issues where anger can be a symptom. Hyperthyroidism for example can cause moodiness, lack of patience and s short temper.

Is this annoyance and anger internal or do you express it to the detriment of those around you? If it is who you or it is hurting those around you, you can seek help to learn emotional regulation skills.

I have a friend like this. You're scared to make the slightest error around her in case it invokes sighs and eye rolls. If we're out for a meal, if something takes too long or is it isn't to her very specific liking, she'll get really ratty and and tell her problem to wait staff in a snide tone. It is literally impossible to be a human being who makes mistakes around her. I keep my distance now, she just isn't a very nice person.

I'll add to my above post; we all get annoyed/ratty/impatient. The important thing is to not take it out on others and to recognise that it is unreasonable sometimes and to just swallow it and get on with things instead of making people feel bad by voicing it.
